• Visit Jungshi Handmade Paper Factory - a traditional workshop where handmade paper is produced from daphne bark, used for religious texts and crafts.

• Drive to Punakha (round a 3-hour drive)
• Stop at Dochula pass (a scenic mountain pass at 3,100m with 108 stupas and panoramic views of snow-capped Himalayan peaks on clear days).
• Visit Punakha Dzong (one of the majestic Dzongs built at river confluence)

Visit Punakha Suspension Bridge (one of the longest suspension bridges in Bhutan, offering scenic river views and decorated with colorful prayer flags)

• Excursion to Khamsum Yulley Namgyel Chorten in Punakha – A hilltop stupa in Punakha built for peace and protection, offering beautiful valley views after a short hike.

Excursion to Taktsang (Tiger’s Nest Monastery) – A sacred Buddhist monastery dramatically built on a cliff about 900m above Paro Valley. It is believed Guru Padmasambhava meditated here after flying on a tigress. The hike takes about 5 hours round trip and offers stunning views and a deeply spiritual experience.
