Ho Chi Minh City is the big tourism center in Vietnam, attracting a large of visitors to Vietnam. In the core of the Mekong Delta, Ho Chi Minh City, formerly known as Saigon, is second the most important in Vietnam after Hanoi. You will be picked up at the Tan Son Nhat International Airport with our private air-conditioned vehicle to transfer to the hotel for check-in (Normally check in time is 14:00, early check in will depend to hotel available). Afternoon, take a city tour to visit outside Saigon Notre-Dame Basilica a neo-Roman cathedral built by the colonial French with materials entirely imported from Marseilles (It is renovating unil 2022). Discover the magnificent neo-Romanesque architecture as you take in the tranquil atmosphere inside.
At the opposite Central Post Office, one of the oldest buildings in Ho Chi Minh City, learn about this significant landmark — the busiest post office in Vietnam. Admire the neoclassical-style of the post office interior as your guide points out the painted maps of former Saigon, once the capital of South Vietnam. Saigon Central Post Office was designed and constructed in the early 20th Century by the famous French architect Gustave Eiffel.
Last but not least, we will visit Cho Lon area or the city’s China Town and the Jade Emperor Temple (Phuoc Hai), a rare Taoist structure in Vietnam built by the Cantonese community in the area in 1909. Dinner at local restaurant. Overnight at hotel in Saigon
