01 - Arrive Auckland
On Arrival, seat in coach guests will be met and privately transferred to hotel.
02 - Auckland - Waitomo - Matamata - Rotorua (B)
Travel south past rolling green hills and lush pastureland to Waitomo Glowworm Caves. Enjoy a guided tour of the weird and wonderful limestone formations and a magical boat ride under thousands of twinkling glowworms. Continue to Matamata and visit Hobbiton Movie Set for a guided tour of 'Middle Earth'. Continue to Rotorua.
Auckland - Waitomo - Matamata - Rotorua: 370km (approx 4hrs 50mins)
03 - Rotorua (B,D)
Visit Te Puia Thermal Reserve to see boiling mudpools and roaring geysers. Following this, visit the Agrodome for a New Zealand farm show before continuing to Rainbow Springs to see New Zealand's trout, birds and wildlife. This afternoon is at leisure to experience some of Rotorua's other attractions. This evening enoy an authentic Maori Hangi (feast) and Concert.
04 - Rotorua - Auckland (B)
Choose whether you spend the morning in Rotorua or the afternoon in Auckland for some optional activities. Transfer from Rotorua to Auckland.
