Itinerary :

Day 1: Melbourne to Apollo Bay (187km)
Collect your vehicle and travel south west on the Princes Highway to Geelong. Then travel on to Torquay, the surfing capital of Australia. Follow the coast road through Anglesea to Lorne and visit
Erskine Falls. Take one of the most scenic coastal drives in the world, the Great Ocean Road, to Apollo Bay. This great touring route winds its way through coastal towns, national parks and iconic natural attractions.

Day 2: Apollo Bay to Port Fairy (188km)
Drive along the Great Ocean Road to Port Campbell and wind through the ferny slopes of Cape Otway.When you meet the coast again see amazing rock formations including the Twelve Apostles and the London Bridge. Visit Tower Hill Nature Reserve near Warrnambool where koalas, emus and kangaroos can be seen, before arriving into Port Fairy.

Day 3: Port Fairy to Halls Gap (158km)
Drive north today to the Grampians National Park and Halls Gap with its woodland walks, waterfalls and rock formations. Take a scenic drive through the Grampians National Park to Halls Gap. Highlights include
McKenzie Falls, Reed Lookout and the Balconies.

Day 4: Halls Gap to Ballarat (141km)
Just out of Halls Gap is Stawell, visit some fabulous wineries including the Montara Estate. Explore Victoria’s largest inland city, Ballarat. Visit Sovereign Hill and see the show ‘Blood on the Southern Cross’.

Day 5: Ballarat to Melbourne (116km)
Visit Ballarat Wildlife Park for a close encounter with native fauna (own expense), before returning to Melbourne. The car is booked until the following day and should be dropped off to the city or airport depot by the same time as it was picked up on day 1 to avoid any additional charges.
